Westgate Resorts Veterans Day Giveaway: For Veterans Day 2022, Westgate Resorts will give a free three-day, two-night Orlando resort stay to 1,000 veterans, active-duty, National Guard and reserve service members. Gold Star families are also eligible for the giveway. The 2022 giveaway is part of the resort chain's annual Westgate Salutes Military Weekend Celebration. You can sign up online or on the Westgate mobile app on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2022.

Walgreens and Duane Read pharmacy stores will offer military members, veterans and military families a 20% military discount on in-store items to “celebrate the service and commitment of the nation’s military and honor those who serve the country,” the drugstore chain said in a press release. The Veterans Day weekend discount event runs from Friday, Nov. 11 to Monday, Nov. 14, 2022.
